Not accessible
1

If you are unable to hike half a mile (each direction), or don't have the time, forget it; there is no way to even get to this dog park. I couldn't even get to it, or find it, thanks to no signage.

For shame, Pittsburgh, to create a space in this day and age that is inaccessible to the mobility-impaired who might not use a chair or scooter. Please either install a road we can drive on to get to the off-leash area, or another entrance that is closer.

Long Walk
3

Long walk from limited on-street parking area and no signs directing you. Two separate areas. The closer one is only partially fenced in. Suffices generally in summer when plants are full grown but will provide no barrier to escape in winter. Second area is completely fenced in. There are benches and poop bags.

UPDATE: A couple years ago they fully fenced the closer area. Mudfest in bad weather so be prepared for your dog (and you) to get dirty. Have towels in your car.
