super nice!

To let you know that dog park have two areas, one for the large dogs and other for the small dogs! Nice place to watch the dogs play and enjoy walk around the park with the dogs. Two paws up!

it's a decent park

I've been to this park a few times with my chihuahua pug mix. I find it kind of annoying that there isn't a separate small and big dog area. A few times there has been huge dogs that can't be controlled by there owners. As long as there isn't any big dogs there its okay for small dogs. The people are usually nice and the park is clean, although the grass could use a cut.

Great Place!

It's wonderful that Dallas has a dog park! It's a great place to release your dogs energy and everyone I've met there so far has been very friendly. I'd be up to a donation center being setup to possibly install a dog wash station! Especially for those muddy winter months.

Central Bark Park

The Park and Recreation board along with City Council held a contest with local elementary and middle school students to help name the new park located at 1000 SE Juniper Street. There were nearly 500 names suggested and many great ideas, but ultimately, Central Bark, was selected by Dallas City Council. The winner(s) are two third grade students from Mrs. Buchan's Class at Lyle Elementary School who chose to submit the name together. Their class will celebrate with a pizza party and everyone in the class will get free one-day passes to the Dallas Aquatic Center.
